The Trial
- The trial will take place on three different fields. Each team can start twice per field. The best 5 results will be counted.
- The outrun length is about 350 m
The Sheep
- We will have a very uniform flock of Coburger Fuchsschafe available.
The Rules
- Helpers are authorised to start at any time.
- Handlers are only allowed to start wearing a valid starting number.
- Handlers are only allowed to start under their own starting number.
- Handlers who are not present when their number is due to run will have to forfeit their run.
- Handlers are expected to know their starting number.
- Handlers are expected to treat sheep respectfully.
- Handlers are expected to treat dogs respectfully.
- Handlers are expected to treat the judges respectfully.
- Handlers can be requested to retire from their run and to leave the trial field, when a fixed number of points, established by the authorities organisers, has already been deducted.
- Handlers automatically agree to the regulations by entering and paying for the trial.
- Issues not covered by these regulations will be decided by the organisers.
- If the regulations stated above are not observed, the organisers may take action against the offending handler.
- Handlers participate on their own risk.
- The organisers are not liable for damages of any kind, not to dogs, vehicles or any other property.
- Parking is only allowed in the designated parking.
- Camping on the ground is strictly forbidden.
- All dogs must be kept on leash.
- A re-run will only be granted at the judge's discretion.
- The organisers are empowered to intervene during the run when the dog or sheep are endangered.
- The current ISDS Rules for Trials (2024) apply.
